Hi. This is my Savage Nautilus 19 workman, it used to have an inboard motor which I have removed and i have custom built a frame to carry a 20hp outboard on the back of the boat, it has made this boat absolutely fantastic, it has a full flat floor from front to back plenty of space, the motor noise and exhaust are dramatically reduced, it steers really very well in reverse and is all things favorable in forward, it will do 6.25 to 6.5 knots with the minimum of fuss, it is just wonderful.

Hi fellow boaties. The above specks are for a Savage nautilus in sailing trim, my Workman / Fisherman variant will both be lighter in weight as it has no ballast fastened below the hull as the yachts do and the workman / Fisherman only has a draft of 18' (450mm) The yachts have a longer cabin with more interior fit out and the cockpit also has more creature comforts which would increase the weight, so my boat is possibly 30% lighter than the yacht version. The Nautilus in full trim which includes the outboard motor (45kg) 20 ltrs of petrol, anchor & ropes, battery, wiring, and a few miscellaneous...read more
