The Gloucester 16 numbers are wrong. I own Kittiwake, I am the one given as your Gloucester 16 link.

Here are better Gloucester 16 numbers:

Draft keel raised 12 inches
Draft keel down 4 ft 3 inches
Ballast 200# external (iron), 150# internal (lead)
Weight about half a ton bare. My boat has the cabin liner removed so I can't give you a precise figure.
