Transom of Sunbird is flat and sides are near vertical, almost like 14' aluminum rowboats. Has good initial stability. Made with a 'doghouse' or a 'slipper-top' small cabin. More daysailer than cruiser. Has a Yahoo group. Main issues are CB swelling (AMF used scrap steel to weigh down CB, which rusts, swells, jams in trunk) and hard to find leaks (at bailer, CB pin, hull-deck joint)
